False pregnancy. Jack Russell. No milk produced yet. Young lady
owner felt it was too cruel to spay
the dog as advised by me. Presenting
signs were loss of appetite and fever.
Dog was not carrying the chew toy when
put on the examination table. Dog
demonstrated to the vet her "object
carrying" behaviour when taken outside
the Surgery for photography.

Matted hair covered this big wound
near the eye. Cause is unknown.

Interdigital cyst in a Shih Tzu X. Dog loved to dig soil when
outdoors and would have got foreign bodies stuck
inside the skin. Early surgical removal would
have given the old dog peace of mind and freedom
from licking. The owner had
consulted vets during the past years. See:
